Scott Free Productions is co-funded by Ridley Scott, the direction famous for the Alien franchise. The production company was formed in 1995 and started up its London base in 2010, which is where this film is produced. Scott Free London has produced other thrillers [which have been based on novels] such as 'Before I Go To Sleep' (2014) and various television dramas.
